Kudos to the U.S. Congress for passing the health care reform act. Despite how politically unpopular the issue is, it passed, and hopefully this will provide more opportunities for more access to more affordable health care.

In my opinion, the troubling issue that remains is the political rhetoric from the conservative side of the aisle that is determined to continue fighting the issue without having any "counter offer" for those that passed the bill.

Conservatives have taken the position "chuck the bill and start over." Start over with what? I haven't heard any good ideas from their side of the aisle. The Democrats' ideas are better than no ideas at all. So my thoughts to Rep. Simpson and Sens. Crapo and Risch — cut the political rhetoric and don't tell us to scrap the bill and start over until you have a half decent proposal to bring to the table.
